To provide nationally recognised training and assessment designed to meet the latest competency standards, legislative changes and industry practises aligned to 30496QLD Course in Operating Loadshifting Equipment.(Forklift licence)

DESIGNED FOR
Forklift Refresher Courses are structured for Organisations who wish to upgrade and improve the knowledge and skills of forklift operators and comply with Workplace Health and Safety requirements.

Licensing Courses are designed for Individuals or groups who do not hold a Workplace Health and Safety license to operate a forklift truck and wish to upgrade their skills, these courses can be conducted at either Transqual Logistics Trainings purpose built training area or a on-the-job employment based course.

COURSE CONTENT

• Licensing requirements, Operating and safe working procedures.
• Forklift components, Dynamics and characteristics.
• Operators duties and responsibilities.
• Identification and avoidance of hazards.
• Pre-operational checks, security and shutdown procedures.

PRE-REQUISITES
Unlicensed applicants:

• Must be 18 years of age at time of assessment, however may commence training in either course based or employment based training prior to turning 18 years of age.

DURATION

• Forklift operators refresher course is conducted utilising a four (4) hour theory session followed by a one (1) hour individual practical assessment.
• Licensing courses can be structured to meet operational requirements and maybe conducted over multiple sessions or structured full time courses.

QUALIFICATION GAINED
Forklift refresher course participants will receive a Statement of Participation

Licensing courses participants will receive a Statement of Attainment from 30496QLD - Course in Operating Loadshifting Equipment for OHSCER207A - Operate a forklift truck
