AIM
This course covers Legislation, Classification of Explosives, Compatibility, Hazard Division of Mixed Loads, Risk Categories for Loads, Packages, IBC’s and Unit Loads, Vehicles and freight Containers, Safety Equipment, Documentation, Loading and Unloading, Procedures during Transport.

NOTE:  This is not a qualification for a Shot Firers Ticket.

DESIGNED FOR
Drivers accredited by Queensland Department of Mines and Energy Safety and Health Division to obtain civilian licence for transporting Class 1 explosives.

PRE-REQUISITES
Must be medically fit, competent in explosives, 21 years of age or older, must be of good character.

DURATION
½ Day

QUALIFICATION GAINED
Participants will receive a Statement of Attainment from TLI30207 - Certificate III Transport & Logistics (Road Transport).
