AIM Since 1991 all States and Territory have been participating in a process to progress national uniformity in the Regulation of Road Transport including Road Safety, Transport Efficiency. These Compliance and Enforcement reforms have expanded the responsibilities of many entities in the transport chain in relation to road safety and container weight declarations. These reforms have introduced the concept of Chain of Responsibility the notion that all parties in the road transport supply chain have obligations to improve safety and prevent breaches from occurring.
