Along with the improved weather conditions comes dramatic increased activity in and around the Surat basin within the gas and coal sectors, this has resulted in difficulty, at times for clients to secure positions for Santos accredited Operate vehicles in the field courses. Transqual has increased the number of courses being conducted each week to ensure we are able to cope with the high demand and continue to offer quality courses in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia, please contact your nearest Transqual office for availability and further information on courses. SEQ Branch continues to exceed expectations on the global stage and has recently had trainers return from both Ethiopia and Zambia where Defensive Driving and vehicle recovery courses have been developed locally specifically to meet the stringent and demanding requirements of the mining and resource sectors to ensure they are able to comply with local ‘in country’ regulations and individual company operational procedures, as a consequence and as the news spreads of the high quality and standard of training being delivered by Transqual together with the benefits of these programs are realised within these fields SEQ has now started to develop training programs to be delivered in Columbia and Brazil.

Over all employers seem to be gaining confidence and realising the benefits a professional training organisation like Transqual can offer their business and further increase productivity and safety by raising the skills and knowledge of staff as well as meeting the compliance requirements within their business, this is evident by the dramatic rise in short course patronage in particular the interest shown in DG Awareness, Pilot and Escort, Forklift refresher/Licencing and Transport of Radioactive Material courses.
