Welcome to the first edition of Transqual Tiger News, our new monthly newsletter. In these newsletters, Transqual will share with you interesting information that could be a benefit to you. Updates on new courses, changes that we as a company have made. We will also be sharing news from the Transport Industry as well as the Government that could have an impact on your business.


Additional training places available under Enterprise Based Productivity Places Program
The Commonwealth Government has released additional places, and over $25 million in funding after the first round of EBPPP for Transport and Logistics Industry Skills Council (TLISC) to manage. The initiative is availiable for enrollments into full qualifications ranging from Certificate III to Advanced Diploma level only.

NSW State Training Services launch Green Skills Business Incentives
Replacing the Green Small Business Incentives, the new program contains the following key features:

  • Businesses of all sizes can access the incentives
  • Businesses with 20 employees or less will receive additional benefits
  • Local Government can now access the incentives

    Transqual's Townsville Training Centre Relocation
    Townsville Office PictureThe staff in Townsville are pleased to announce their relocation into larger facilities in Garbutt. In addition to a larger training room, they now have warehouse facilities and are pleased to be able to offer in-house forklift training and assessment.
    The new address is: Unit 3/56 Pilkington Street, Garbutt.

    NEW ADG 7 Code and the NEW Dangerous Goods Driver Licence Course
    The training required for this course can now only be conducted by Registered Training Organisations (RTO) who have a training course approved by the Competent Authorities.
    Transqual is approved to deliver the new Dangerous Goods Driver Licence Course (as approved by the Competent Authorities) in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia.
    All Transqual DG trainers have undertaken the Trainers Mandatory Assessment as required by the Competent Authorities.
