Transqual has specialised in providing nationally accredited logistics and transport training in Australia and New Zealand since 1994.

Transqual Pty Ltd is a family owned; nationally registered training company with 4 major training centres throughout Australia and employs over 40 highly experienced and qualified personnel. The national support office is centrally located in Newcastle providing complete coverage of the eastern seaboard of Australia, South Australia, Western Australia and the Northern Territory as well as working internationally in NZ, PNG, Ethiopia and Somalia & The Pacific Islands
Transqual is accredited through ASQA, giving us national recognition throughout Australia. Transqual currently holds User Choice Contracts with the Queensland, Australian Capital Territory, Tasmania and Western Australian governments.
Transqual remains focused to ensure that when any partnership is forged between the client and our Company it is a long-term arrangement and the client’s needs become our priority to ensure that required outcomes are reflective of the original objectives. This is obtained by flexibility, reliability and cost competitive solutions to managing and delivery of the clients training needs.
Transqual Pty Ltd is involved in a number of training programs, in conjunction with Federal and State Governments, in the provision of training and assessment to companies operating Australia wide. Training under these Federal and State Contracts is designed to assist companies in training employees to the required qualifications to meet the National Standards using the TLI Training Packages.
Transqual conducts training and assessment in warehousing, road transport, Rail and Stevedoring Australia wide. The majority of this training and assessments conducted at our clients work sites, allowing us to use their daily operations to apply new skills and knowledge into actual working practices.
As a Nationally Registered Training Organisation and Quality accredited to ISO9001 standards, our biggest point of difference is the accreditations we hold to comply with your industry legislative requirements. Transqual prides itself on being deeply involved with industry, acting as an adviser and assisting industry groups with training and procedural information. This is reflected in the accreditations we hold including the WorkCover, WorkSafe The Road & Maritime Service, Railcorp, the Environmental Protection Authority and the Queensland Department of Transport.

Our training packages include everything from Chain of Responsibility, Dangerous Goods and Workplace health and safety programs to High risk Licensing. Transqual also have regular scheduled courses for Forklift, Dangerous Goods Drivers Licence, fatigue management, 4WD, First Aid and Load Restraint. Other qualifications that Transqual offer include transport and Logistics Certificates to Diploma level including Diploma of Logistics. Transqual Pty Ltd prides itself on being able to deliver standardised training and assessment across the nation, customising each facet to meet the client’s enterprise specifics whilst still maintaining national regulations and state legislation requirements.
Our exploration and mining industry clients, such as SANTOS have implemented policies where all staff, contractors and visitors to their sites must undertake Transqual 4WD Defensive Driving training program before operating a 4WD vehicle on-site. We deliver these programs Australia wide.
Transqual Pty Ltd was originally set up as a Quality Assurance Consultancy Firm in 1993.
Through the implementation of Quality Systems it was discovered that there was a need for a professional and quality training organisation to cover the Transport, Distribution, Warehousing and Logistics Industries.
During 1994 a Training Division was incorporated into Transqual Pty Ltd, concentrating on the National and State Accreditation requirements for the above industries. This was followed by recruitment of highly qualified and experienced staff. Accreditation with the various Government and Industry Bodies was sought through the preparation and design of training resources aimed at providing a quality service to our potential and identified clients.
Response to Industry Consultations
Through consultation with industry it was found that there was a shortage of workplace training and recognition of existing skills. We concentrated our efforts into conducting training in the workplace and recognition of prior learning. This was well received by the industry and through this training and assessment we were able to expand into traineeships, industry incentive programs and government assisted programs.
Expanding the Transqual Network
During 1995 we won a major Government tender for industry in Queensland and commenced trading in Queensland. Transqual Pty Ltd established a training centre in Brisbane and increased our staff to accommodate for the tender. The success of this program, and the reputation gained through our quality approach to the provision of training and assessment led to further successful tenders, opening up the market for the provision of training and assessment within industry for all of Queensland. Since then Transqual has expanded its operations nationally and internationally.
